Time to Grow

Landfills everywhere are filling up with waste while only some people find the need to recycle. Yet, as this article that I found points out, "Once a product has been broken down about three times it is no longer effective to recycle it because it doesn’t have enough fibers left" (Earth Porm). I'm not saying not to recycle, but we as humankind making our beloved home flow with waste where ever we walk need to find a more fulfilling solution.

That's exactly what this company based in California, Reduce. Reuse. Grow. has accomplished. Admit it. The majority of people like their coffee, at least in the U.S.. No matter if it's black or loaded with creamers and flavorings, we have to use a coffee cup to hold our coffee. And what happens when we finish drinking it? We add that cup right back to a landfill.

Reduce. Reuse. Grow. has made a change for the better. With their invention, there is the idea that we will no longer have to throw away our coffee cups but plant them to add growth to our surroundings. Not only does this stop CO2 from being released as a cup sits in a landfill, but CO2 will actually be extracted from the atmosphere from the growth of a tree from the cup. This makes our living conditions much better.

For the mean time, keep up with that recycling and another else that can help our Mother Nature and check out the link for the original article.
